Background
The solicitation is for an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract to provide invasive and nuisance plant management services for the National Park Service (NPS) in Florida and the U.S. Caribbean. The contract includes a base period of 12 months and four option periods of 12 months each. The work will involve treating exotic vegetation on spoil mounds within the Hole-in-The-Donut area of Everglades National Park.

Work Details
The contractor is required to provide all labor, equipment, materials, and services necessary for the control of exotic plants, including furnishing herbicides, dyes, and adjuvants. The work may occur in various natural area habitats in Florida and the U.S. Caribbean, including submerged aquatic systems, marshes, coastal islands, and developed landscapes. The contractor must also perform tasks such as data entry, GIS mapping, and managing herbicide quantities at the task order level.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for the base contract is from June 1, 2023, to May 31, 2024. Additionally, there are four option periods available from June 1, 2024, to May 31 of each subsequent year through 2028.
