Intent to Sole Source Award - Attenuation Table Engineering   2

Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Pacific (SSCPAC) hereby publicizes its intention to solicit, negotiate, and award a firm fixed price contract on a noncompetitive basis with Analog Devices Inc., 2 Elizabeth Drive, Chelmsford,MA 01864, for attenuation table engineering. This is a non-recurring engineering (NRE) requirement for the development of attenuation tables to HMC8113 & HMC8114 amplifiers. The Analog Devices NRE testing program development and attenuation tables are being requested for the Ships Signal Exploitation Equipment (SSEE) Mods Project. This requirement is for the OEM to develop attenuation tables in order to assist the warfighter. The tables will give the ability to test and provide SSC Pacific with amplifier attenuation information for use by the SSEE Mods equipment operators and technicians when adjusting the attenuation level to meet specific operational requirements. The result of the program is the attenuation table itself. The attenuation tables will be provided to the operator and technician for reference when adjusting the attenuation levels on the high powered amplifiers. Be advised that the aforementioned information is anticipatory in nature and is not binding. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals; however, any firm believing that they can fulfill the requirement of providing these services may be considered by the agency. Interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities in response to this synopsis, and must clearly show the firm's ability to be responsive without compromising the quality, accuracy, and reliability of services provided.
