HCHS-SOL Coordinating Center   4

Background
The contract is for the Hispanic Community Health Study - Study of Latinos (HCHS-SOL) Coordinating Center. The purpose of this acquisition is to provide coordinating center support services for the HCHS-SOL. The goal is to maximize the use of data and samples amassed in HCHS/SOL since 2006 to address new questions about the development and progression of clinical CVD and related conditions.

Work Details
The Contractor shall furnish all necessary services, qualified personnel, material, equipment, and facilities as needed to perform the Statement of Work. The work includes enhancing statistical power to perform analyses of predictors of clinical events, studying the progression of subclinical to clinical CVD, identifying new risk factors or interactions among factors that inform disease pathophysiology, supporting field centers to continue cohort follow-up and data collection on clinical events, maintaining existing data repository and biospecimen repositories, fostering scientific collaborations, and supporting field centers to conduct a limited clinical examination of the HCHS/SOL participants.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for the contract is from November 30, 2024, to November 29, 2033.
