Gene Therapy Resource Program (GTRP)   4

The NHLBI requires the Gene Therapy Resource Program (GTRP) support translational gene therapy research by providing resources and services from four core laboratories: 1.) Pharmacology and Toxicology Core Laboratory, 2.) Preclinical Vector Core Laboratory, 3.) a Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)-grade Adeno-Associated Virus (AAV) Vector Core Laboratory, and 4.) GMP-grade Lentivirus Vector Core Laboratory. Additionally, the overall orchestration of the program is to be handled by a Clinical Coordinating Center (CCC), which is not required to have any laboratory capabilities.
