Background
The U.S. Air Force is issuing a presolicitation notice for the re-acquisition of Architect & Engineer (A&E) Services through a Multiple Award Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for Fiscal Year 2027. This initiative aims to support the 86th Civil Engineering Squadron, which is responsible for various military projects. The contract will facilitate the design and engineering services necessary for these projects, enhancing the operational capabilities of the squadron.

Work Details
The contract will encompass a range of A&E services including but not limited to: Title I services (conceptual design), Title II services (construction administration), and other A&E services as required. The prior SOWs describe multi-disciplined A&E design services for U.S. military facilities in Europe—primarily USAFE/Ramstein and geographically separated units in Germany—covering facility upgrades and conversions and related assessments/design tasks, which aligns with the current re-acquisition’s stated purpose of providing Title I/Title II A&E support for projects in the KMC area.
