Background
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is soliciting services from a qualified and experienced Architect/Engineering Firm to design a new Airport Traffic Control Tower (ATCT) with Administrative Base Building and new Remote Transmitter Receiver (RTR) facility at the Miami Executive Airport (TMB) in Miami, FL. The optional task for construction support is also available. The solicitation specifies that all pertinent information is available through the attachments, and any questions should be submitted no later than 8 July 2024 by 1400 CD.

Work Details
This is an Architect and Engineer (A-E) Services requirement to design a new Air Traffic Control Tower (ATCT) and Nationwide unrestricted competition that will be awarded as a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) contract. The scope of work includes designing the new TMB ATCT facility, administration building, and NEW REMOTE TRANSMITTER RECEIVER (RTR) FACILITY per the statement of work. Additionally, there is an option for Construction Support, which involves engineering construction support for Architectural, Electrical, Structural, Mechanical, and Fire Protection Engineering disciplines as part of the new Miami Executive Airport (TMB) Construction Project in Miami, FL. The task order will be in place through the completion of the construction project or expenditure of the allotted funds, whichever comes first.
Construction is currently expected to occur between June 2026 and August 2028.
