Background
The Emerging Technology Accelerator (ETA) Program, issued by IARPA, aims to invest in high-risk, high-payoff research that can provide the U.S. with an overwhelming intelligence advantage. The program seeks innovative solutions to address specific problems and goals while allowing maximum flexibility and creativity in proposals.

The program metrics are designed to evaluate the effectiveness of proposed solutions in achieving stated objectives and ensuring satisfactory progress.

Work Details
Proposers are required to meet program metrics as performance indicators under all IARPA research programs. Key tasks include:
1) Defining technical tasks and sub-tasks with clear objectives and detailed approaches;
2) Establishing waypoints for measuring progress towards milestones;
3) Delivering software formatted according to specified guidelines;
4) Participating in Technical Exchange Meetings (TEM) and workshops;
5) Providing a comprehensive management plan detailing team structure, responsibilities, and communication strategies;
6) Identifying deliverables including reports and software, along with associated data rights;
7) Addressing risks and potential mitigations related to the proposed research. Proposals must also include a Gantt chart outlining all tasks and milestones.

Period of Performance
The anticipated period of performance is subject to change following technical evaluations, with specific timelines outlined in Attachment 1 of the ETA Programs.
