Background
The Best Pharmaceuticals for Children Act (BPCA) Pediatric Trials Network (PTN) is issued by the National Institutes of Health (NIH), specifically the Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD).

The mission of this contract is to enhance pediatric clinical trials and improve the availability of safe and effective medications for children. The goal is to establish a network that facilitates the conduct of pediatric clinical trials, ensuring that children have access to necessary pharmaceutical treatments.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for providing all necessary services, qualified personnel, materials, equipment, and facilities to perform the Statement of Work dated September 3, 2024. Key tasks include:
1. Submission of electronic reports compliant with Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act.
2. Preparation and submission of Technical Progress Reports detailing activities undertaken and future plans.
3. Annual Technical Progress Report for Clinical Research Study Populations, including data on the inclusion of women and minorities in studies.
4. Reporting on Financial Conflict of Interest as per 45 CFR Part 94.
5. Ensuring compliance with NIH policies regarding human subjects in research, including obtaining Institutional Review Board approvals.
6. Conducting regular vulnerability scans and reporting results as required.
7. Maintaining confidentiality and nondisclosure of information provided by HHS or collected on its behalf.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this contract is from May 19, 2025, to May 18, 2033.

Place of Performance
The work will primarily be performed at locations specified in individual task orders issued under this contract.
