This is a request for information and will be used for market research purposes only. The sources sought notice is used to identify potential vendors that have the resources and capabilities to provide the marquee sign replacement identified in the Statement of Work. Description of Work - Please See Statement of Work: Pricing/Estimate Please include a budgetary estimate for a full marquee sign removal and replacement. Responses without a budgetary estimate will not be considered due to the inability to determine price reasonableness. Interested & Capable Responses NCO 5 is seeking responses from businesses that are interested in this procurement and consider themselves to have the resources and capabilities necessary to provide these services. Please respond with your: Business name, SAM Unique Entity Identifier, business type, socio-economic status (e.g., Veteran-Owned, Woman-Owned, Disadvantaged Small Business, 8(a), etc.), and person of contact (including telephone number & email address). GSA contract number, if applicable. Capability statement and summary of relevant experience/examples. Approximate cost estimate to perform the work described. Your estimate shall not be considered a final quote, rather, the estimate shall be used to assist contracting with determining fair and reasonable pricing when drafting the Governments independent estimate, as well as applicable set-asides. This request for information/sources sought notice is for planning purposes ONLY. The results of this market research will assist in the development of (1) the requirement, and (2) the acquisition strategy (e.g., small business set-aside, full and open competition, etc.). VA assumes no responsibility for any costs incurred associated with the preparation of responses submitted as a result of this notice.
Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs, specifically the Network Contracting Office 05, is seeking to replace the antiquated LED Marquee Sign at the Main Entrance of the Louis A Johnson VA Medical Center in Clarksburg, WV.

The goal of this contract is to procure a qualified contractor who can effectively remove the existing sign and install a modern version that provides valuable information to Veterans and Staff as they enter the facility.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the full removal of the existing marquee sign and installation of a new one that meets specific dimensions and materials outlined in the Statement of Work (SOW).

The new marquee sign must be a double-faced 10mm full-color LED electronic message unit with dimensions of 72"h x 140"w x 24"d.

The top section should measure 24"h x 140"w x 24"d, made from painted aluminum cabinet; the middle section should be 36"h x 132"w x 24"d, also painted aluminum with routed illuminated copy; and the bottom section must be a double-sided cabinet for a full-color LED message center measuring 28"h x 108".

The contractor must provide all necessary materials, programming information, and warranty details. Work must adhere to safety protocols and not obstruct access to the Main Entrance during installation.

Period of Performance
Work must be completed within 30 days of the Notice to Proceed, with operations scheduled during normal business hours (Monday – Friday, 8am – 4:30pm).
