Description

The Department of the Interior, Interior Business Center, Acquisition Services Directorate intends to utilize robotic process automation (RPA) to closeout contracts in accordance with FAR 4.804. The contracts we have identified to be closed all have an expired period of performance, are fully invoiced with a zero-dollar balance, are firm-fixed price, and have an overall obligation that was below the simplified acquisition threshold. The The attached list of contracts will be closed by RPA. This is an advance notice to vendors identified on the attached contract list of the forthcoming closeout action. The RPA closeouts will begin ten days after the posting of this announcement.
Background
The Department of the Interior, Interior Business Center, Acquisition Services Directorate is initiating a process to utilize robotic process automation (RPA) for the closeout of contracts. These contracts have expired periods of performance, are fully invoiced with a zero-dollar balance, and are firm-fixed price contracts with obligations below the simplified acquisition threshold. This notice serves as an advance alert to vendors listed in the attached contract list regarding the upcoming closeout actions, which will commence ten days after this announcement.
