This is a RFI notice only. This RFI is issued for the purpose of market research in accordance with FAR Part 10.

The 99th Contracting Squadron is seeking market information from qualified, experienced and interested vendors who can supply the items and perform services outlined below and in the attached draft Statement of Objectives (SOO) for Flexible Service Credits to support and integrate new systems into the modernized network at Nellis AFB.

Request interested firms respond to the following:

  1. Identify your firm's information (name, address, phone number, CAGE code).
  2. Identify if your company is a large or small business. If applicable, identify what small business program(s) (i.e. SBA Certified 8(a), Service Disabled Veteran Owned, HubZone, etc.) your company is certified as.
  3. Identify the appropriate amount of calendar days required to respond to a RFP.
  4. What is the timeframe needed from time of award to transition and begin new service.
  5. Any other comments, feedback or response on how to improve this requirement is highly encouraged.
  6. The Government wants to ensure transparency of this process and ensure interested firms are provided the same information. If your firm has a question regarding this RFI, can the Government post your firm's questions, along with the Government's response, in FedBizOpps, GSA, etc. (your firm's name will not be disclosed to the public)?

Only electronic responses will be accepted. Please send responses via email to the primary point of contact, SSgt Nathan Doebler, at nathan.doebler@us.af.mil, no later than Friday, 9 August 2024, 12:00 pm Pacific Time. Earlier submission is highly encouraged.

This RFI notice is issued for planning purposes only. Responses to this notice will assist the Government in identifying potential sources and determining if a set-aside of the solicitation is appropriate. This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract, nor does it obligate the Government to pay for any bid/proposal preparation costs.

Background
The 99th Contracting Squadron is seeking market information from qualified, experienced, and interested vendors to supply items and perform services related to Flexible Service Credits. This initiative supports the integration of new systems into the modernized network at Nellis AFB, ensuring interoperability and continuity while meeting Air Force directives and protecting the network from vulnerabilities.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide Flexible Service Credits for training, consulting, VMware initial on-site setup configuration, and ground and remote support of newly installed systems. Specific tasks include:
- Training and consulting services for VMware, SolarWinds, CISCO ISE, Cisco DNA, and CISCO Comply to Connect (C2C) products.
- Remote support for the aforementioned products.
- Initial on-site configuration/setup of VMware requiring a minimum of 40 hours of contiguous on-site training and consulting services.
- One year of remote engineering support including configuration, implementation, troubleshooting assistance, design guidance, and full technical guidance during normal business hours.
- Provide two examples of previous projects involving initial on-site configuration/setup of VMware.
- Submit resumes of at least two technical staff with suitable operational and technical skills.
- Ensure compliance with DoD 8570 standards including Security+ certification and a minimum Secret Clearance.

Period of Performance
The period of performance is for one year from the signature or receipt of the purchase order.

Place of Performance
Work will be performed at Building 907, 6010 Fitzgerald Blvd, Nellis AFB, NV 89191.
