Colorado Plateau Seed Production

Background
The Bureau of Land Management (BLM), in collaboration with the US Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) and the National Park Service (NPS), is seeking to acquire native plant materials for land management rehabilitation, restoration, and reclamation efforts.

This contract aims to commission seed production of source-identified native seeds to support various environmental projects such as wildfire stabilization, habitat improvement, and erosion control.

Work Details
The contractor is required to produce cleaned and tested native seed that meets specific quality and quantity standards.

All seed must be source identified (SI) certified under the Association of Official Seed Certifying Agencies (AOSCA) Certification program for Pre-Variety Germplasm (PVG). The contractor will provide all necessary resources including acreage, equipment, irrigation, supplies, and transportation. Stock seed will be provided by BLM.

Payment structure includes:
1. Field Establishment - Payment upon inspection and acceptance of field establishment.
2. Seed Production - Payment based on delivered seed at the offered price pending acceptance.
3. Additional Seed Production - BLM has the right of first refusal on any additional seed produced beyond contracted amounts.

Period of Performance
09/01/2025 to 07/30/2030

Place of Performance
All seed shall be delivered to the BLM National Seed Warehouse system facilities located in Boise, Idaho.
