Description

NASA/ARC is hereby requesting information about potential sources for AMES Facilities Support Services II (AFSSII) for the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Ames Research Center (ARC). The Contractor will provide operations and maintenance of ARC facilities (located at Moffett Field, California) and collateral equipment as well as other related functions as outlined in the description attached below and in Attachment 1 Summarized Performance Work Statement (SPWS).

Background
NASA/ARC is requesting information about potential sources for AMES Facilities Support Services II (AFSSII) for the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Ames Research Center (ARC). The Contractor will provide operations and maintenance of ARC facilities located at Moffett Field, California and collateral equipment as well as other related functions as outlined in the description attached below and in Attachment 1 Summarized Performance Work Statement (SPWS).

Work Details
The Contractor shall perform all ARC proactive maintenance (PM, PGM, and PdM) as specified in the CMMS and as contained in this work statement. The Contractor shall also perform all corrective maintenance to restore a facility or component thereof, including collateral equipment, to a condition substantially equivalent to its originally intended and designed capacity. Additionally, the Contractor shall provide operations work requiring the presence of one or more qualified persons during a specified time period.

The work also includes environmental compliance controls, emergency support services, pavement sweeping, patching of pavement sections, maintenance of facility alarms, fire suppression systems, buildings and structures, mechanical systems, utility systems, and heating, ventilating, air conditioning, and refrigeration (HVAC/R) systems.
