Background
The Naval Sea Systems Command intends to issue, on a sole-source basis, a modification to contract N00024-22-C-2210 to Willard Marine INC, for the procurement of fifteen (15) 7m Shipboard Rigid Inflatable Hull (RIB) boats. The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Navy intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of 6.302-2. The resultant modification will increase the number of boats under the aforementioned contract to continue delivery of critical assets required to preclude a deleterious impact on the Navy’s strategic force and, therefore, upon national security.
