Background
The Corporal Michael J. Crescenz VA Medical Center (CMJC VAMC), located at 3900 Woodland Ave., Philadelphia, PA, is mandated by VA Policy, ISC policy, and Presidential Directive to use employee PIV cards to control access to critical areas of the hospital.

The CMJC VAMC wishes to renew and restore the previously held Lenell S2 license with the intent of transitioning Access Control to this head-end system. This renewal will bring the Philadelphia VA Medical Center into compliance with Federal guidelines while also improving efficiency and utility.

Work Details
The contract includes the license and support renewal for Lenell S2 Onguard, Physical Access Control System software, covering the period from 11/26/2015 to 11/02/2026.

The licensing fees will include updating the software to the latest version and covering future updates and support until November 2026. The CMJC VAMC currently has over 600 access-controlled doors managed by an access control server and software, which requires compliance with government standards such as OMB policies M-19-17 and M-05-24, NIST SP800-63, FIPS-201-3, NIST SP800-116.
