The Social Security Administration (SSA) requires single unit kiosks for the field offices to facilitate Visitor Intake Process (VIPr) functions available for purchase in bulk quantities. The kiosk unit shall be capable of providing fully accessible self-service options to users, connecting via USB to a zero client, and providing authentication, document scanning, printing intake tickets and full-sized documents as receipt of service.

The kiosks are intended to be accessible to people with disabilities and will be designed, installed, and maintained by the contractor.

Work Details
The requirement is for standalone, enclosed, custom-designed kiosk units that are ruggedized for use in semi-supervised, indoor locations. These kiosks will be zero client-based systems with USB peripheral devices installed inside the cabinet. They must meet agency technical, accessibility, and usability requirements.

The contractor is responsible for providing all labor, services, hardware, and software necessary to fulfill these requirements.

Period of Performance
The contract has a potential term of 126 months if all options are exercised, starting from 2022 through 2032.
