Background
The Social Security Administration (SSA) is seeking to enhance its network infrastructure to support its operations across over 1,600 offices nationwide. SSA's mission involves providing services at the local level through a decentralized field organization, including regional offices, program service centers, and state disability determination services.

Work Details
The contract involves the provision of enterprise infrastructure including networks, computing centers, and support services nationwide. The contractor shall provide Open Systems Interconnect (OSI) Model Layer 3 Ethernet switches, routers, and necessary software products maintenance for SSA's network infrastructure. Specific hardware requirements include Cisco ASR routers and Layer-3 capable switches with 10/100/1000BASE-TX-RJ45 UTP ports. The contractor must also provide maintenance coverage for Cisco legacy products and ensure IPv6 capability as per USGV6 Profile standards.

Period of Performance
The contract consists of a one-year base period plus nine one-year option periods.

Place of Performance
Deliveries will primarily ship to SSA facilities including:
- Perimeter East Building in Baltimore, MD
- Integration Center in Elkridge, MD
- National Support Center in Frederick, MD
- Second Support Center in Durham, NC.
