Description

Brand Name Pharmacy OneSource Simplifi Software Licenses and Maintenance Support REQUEST FOR INFORMATION Introduction: This is a Request for Information (RFI) issued for conducting market research. This RFI constitutes neither a Request for Quote (RFQ), Request for Proposal (RFP), nor a guarantee that one will be issued by the Government in the future; furthermore, it does not commit the Government to a contract for any services described herein. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is not, at this time, seeking proposals or quotes, and therefore, will not accept, review, or evaluate unsolicited proposals or quotes received in response hereto. This notice is not to be construed as a commitment on the part of the Government to award a contract, nor does the Government intend to pay for any information submitted because of this request. The Government does not reimburse respondents for any costs associated with submission of the information being requested or reimburse expenses incurred for responses to this RFI. The information provided may be used by VA in developing its acquisition strategy and Performance Work Statement (PWS) or Product Description (PD). Any information submitted by respondents to this RFI is strictly voluntary; however, any information received shall become the property of the Government and will not be returned to the respondent. Interested parties are responsible for adequately marking proprietary, restricted, or competition sensitive information contained in their response. This is a request for information and does not obligate the Government in any way, nor does it commit the Government to any specific course of action. Product information, brochures, part numbers, and/or other description information may be included with the submission. Requirement: Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Veterans Health Administration (VHA), Veterans Integrated Services Network 8 (VISN 8) has a requirement to purchase brand name Pharmacy OneSource Simplifi 797 w/Critical Point (with add-on modules USP 800 & 795, Compounding Module), and Simplifi+ MedStorage. The Simplifi 797 web-based portal is a customizable pharmacy sterile compounding electronic quality management product. Simplifi 797 is a turnkey web-based quality management system that simplifies and automates ongoing compliance with essential USP Chapter 797 (with add-on modules, to include 800 & 795) requirements for safety and risk mitigation including comprehensive policies, procedures, staff training, competency evaluations, risk management, quality assurance practices necessary for a safe and efficient sterile compounding environment. The Compounding module in Simplifi 797 allows for digital storage of master formulation records for sterile and non-sterile preparations. It also provides an integrated workflow for both compounding and pharmacy checks and approvals, along with a robust activity tracker. In addition, labels can be easily printed from any network printer. The period of performance is comprised of a 12-month base period and four 12-month options periods for continued access to the website. The option periods are required to ensure continued access to historical compounding recipes and recurring tasks and to comply with regulatory record keeping requirements which require records to be maintained for a minimum of three years. Responses: Based on the requirements above, VA is seeking a firm-fixed price (FFP) delivery order for brand name Pharmacy OneSource Simplifi 797 w/Critical Point web-based portal, with add-on modules United States Pharmacopeia (USP) 800 & 795, Compounding Module and Simplifi+ MedStorage, with annual maintenance and support services. This effort is being conducted under the authority of the Multiple Award Schedule Program; the proposed effort will be sole source and awarded under General Services Administration (GSA) Contract 47QTCA20D0034 to Pharmacy OneSource, Inc., 525 Junction RD STE 5000, Madison, WI 53717-2154. Any alternative product or technology must provide at least the same capabilities as the current commercially available version of Pharmacy OneSource Simplifi. RESPONSE Please provide your response no later than August 6, 2025, at 3:00PM EST to kalil.oneal@va.gov. Post RFI Phase Based on market research results, the RFP/RFQ may be made available on SAM.gov. It is the responsibility of interested parties to regularly monitor the SAM.gov for updates. The government will not provide hard copies of the solicitation once issued. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the website and downloading the solicitation, its attachments, and any amendments from the internet site identified above when/if issued. All information regarding the procurement is provided herein, and no additional information shall be provided at this time.
Background

Work Details
