PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE: INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE
Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN1 and VISN4, intend to award a Firm Fixed Price, Sole Source, Five-Year BPA for the Simplifi 797 Web-Based Quality Management System. Pharmacy One Source Inc., located in Madison WI, is the Sole Source Distributor for this system, which aligns with USP Chapters 795, 797, and 800 for compounding.

Work Details
The contract involves the delivery and installation of the Simplifi 797 Web-Based Quality Management System across various VA Medical Centers in VISN 1 and VISN 4. The system includes software, accessories, materials, installation services, training services, and licensing/subscriptions. It ensures patient safety through automated quality control of medication compounding and compliance with USP standards.

The vendor will provide modules related to USP 795, USP 800, and USP 797, as well as modules for high-risk compounding if requested. Training for pharmacy staff and technical support are included.
