Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs, specifically the Network Contracting Office 22, is seeking a vendor to provide laboratory scheduling software. The goal of this contract is to enhance the staffing efficiency of laboratory sections, ensuring exemplary patient care as highlighted in a recent inspection by CAP. The software is recommended by CAP professionals to assist in maintaining adequate laboratory coverage.

Work Details
The vendor will provide an online scheduling program designed for laboratory supervisors to track coverage and create advanced schedules up to one year in advance. Key features and services include:
- 24/7/365 unlimited cloud-access
- Software hosting
- Upgrades and updates
- Unlimited technical support (Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. PT)
- After-hours emergency-only support
- Full training and support for current and new Client administrators
- Access to Online Help Center
- Proactive account management.

The Scheduling module must automate the creation, editing, and management of staff schedules, including leave and shift change requests. It includes full initial implementation and ongoing consultative services. Additional enterprise-level support includes:
- Year-round consultative support with an assigned Account Analyst
- Customized training sessions and educational webinars
- Unlimited schedule creation and revisions
- Full online access to training materials
- Embedded Help and Feedback links within the software.
