Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs James J. Peters VA Medical Center, located in Bronx, NY, has issued a Notice of Intent to Award a sole source contract to Acustaf Development Corporation for Labor Management Software. The market research conducted by the agency determined that Acustaf Development Corporation is the only vendor capable of providing the necessary software and services that meet the specific requirements outlined in the notice.

Work Details
The contract requires labor management software for staff scheduling that must be compatible with HL7 Interface with VISTA and link with VHA Directive 2010-034 Staffing Methodology. It should also incorporate ALBCC information to automate VHA Directive 1731: DSS labor mapping and VHA Directive 1750: Managerial Cost Account (MCA). The software should be able to generate reports that match MCA fields for labor mapping completion.
