Background
The Department of the Air Force, specifically the Headquarters 36th Wing (PACAF) at Andersen Air Force Base in Guam, is issuing this solicitation for the rental of commercial forklifts to support direct-mission related operations.

The goal of this contract is to ensure that the Air Force has the necessary equipment to efficiently move cargo and support operations at the base.

Work Details
The contractor will provide two (2) 10K Standard Forklifts or equivalent for a one-month rental period.

These forklifts will be utilized to move Air Force cargo and 463L pallets to and from 734 AMS facilities, aircraft, and cargo trucks as required. The forklifts must have a fork length of 72 inches.

Delivery of the vehicles will be made to Building 19033, 734 Air Freight Terminal, with escorts provided from Andersen AFB Visitors Center upon delivery.

In case of vehicle maintenance requiring significant work, replacement must occur within 96 hours of reporting. Minor repairs that can be conducted on Andersen AFB will be performed on-site with mechanics escorted by 734 AMS personnel at least five days a week.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon award and is expected to last for one month, with delivery scheduled for September 30, 2024.
