Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office 1 (NCO 1) is conducting market research to identify potential qualified vendors capable of providing window treatments for the new Women’s Health Clinic at the Bedford VA Medical Center in Bedford, MA.
The goal is to create a veteran-centered healing environment that ensures privacy and comfort for patients. This Sources Sought notice serves as an opportunity for vendors to demonstrate their capabilities and availability to meet the requirements outlined in the Statement of Work (SOW).
Work Details
The selected contractor will be responsible for providing custom window treatments, including shades and coverings, specifically designed for the Women’s Health Clinic. The contractor's tasks include: conducting onsite reviews and field measurements, purchasing materials, fabrication, assembly, delivery, installation of required fascia, shades, mounting brackets, fasteners, and hardware.
The contractor must also remove all shipping debris and clean up after installation. The SOW specifies a total of 71 window shades with various specifications:
