Description

This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with format in FAR Subpart 12; simplified acquisition procedures apply. VA will conduct the procurement according to FAR Part 12, Acquisitions of Commercial Products and Commercial Products and Commercial Services as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The solicitation number is 36C25626Q0967 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The proposed contract action will initiate a new supply agreement/contract to provide and install new anti-microbial shelving units for walk-in freezers and refrigerators conforming to the standards and parameters detailed in the statement of work attached. The shelving units will replace existing shelving units at end-of-life in the Overton Brooks VA Medical Center (OBVAMC). This solicitation is 100% SET-ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESSES. The NAICS code is 337215 (Showcase, Partition, Shelving, and Locker Manufacturing). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2026-01 (03/13/2026). Only emailed requests received directly from the requester will be accepted. RESPONSES ARE DUE, July 14th, 2026, by 8:00 a.m. Central Time (CT). Quotes are due electronically to Marcus.Sidney@va.gov no later than the response date listed on FBO. Only electronic quotes will be considered. Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is seeking to procure new anti-microbial shelving units for the Overton Brooks VA Medical Center (OBVAMC) in Shreveport, LA. The existing shelving units are at end-of-life and do not meet operational needs. This procurement is part of the VA's mission to provide high-quality care and services to veterans.

Work Details
The contractor will provide and install a total of 41 new anti-microbial shelving units with specific requirements as follows:
- Eight (8) Antimicrobial aluminum slotted shelving units (24" D x 48" W x 74" H)
- Ten (10) Antimicrobial aluminum slotted shelving units (24" D x 48" W x 69" H)
- Twelve (12) Stainless steel slotted shelving units (48" W x 24" D x 74" H)
- Eleven (11) Stainless steel slotted shelving units (48" W x 24" D x 69" H)

All units must be fully assembled, leveled, and operational upon installation. The contractor is also responsible for removing existing shelving, disposing of it according to regulations, and ensuring that all packing materials are removed from the VA facility.

Period of Performance
All deliverables shall be delivered and installed no later than 30 days after receipt of order.
