Background
The U.S. Coast Guard is issuing a solicitation for janitorial services at Air Station Traverse City, with the goal of maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various facilities. The contract aims to ensure that all areas are properly serviced in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all necessary supervision, labor, materials, equipment, and transportation necessary to perform janitorial services at the Coast Guard base located at 1175 Airport Access Road, Traverse City, MI 49686-3586. Specific tasks include:

- Cleaning furnished barracks rooms
- Cleaning restrooms
- Cleaning training rooms
- Cleaning lounges
- Cleaning common passageways
- Cleaning mess decks
- Cleaning various offices within Smith Hall, Vice Admiral Currier Hangar, Supply Building, and Medical Building.

Cleaning tasks must be performed during weekdays between 8:00 am and 4:00 pm. The contractor is responsible for providing trained personnel and cleaning supplies (except for toilet paper and soap provided by the Coast Guard). A Strike Contingency Plan must be developed to prevent service interruptions due to labor disputes. The contractor must maintain a Quality Control Plan to ensure compliance with service requirements.
