The purpose of this amendment is to provide Questions and Answers (see attached document, Dialysis EHR - Questions and Answers 2-8-17). This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services/items prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP); the solicitation number is VA118-17-R-1804 (see attached document: Synopsis Solicitation VA118-17-R-1804). The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Technology Acquisition Center (TAC), located at 23 Christopher Way, Eatontown, NJ 07724 intends to issue a full and open solicitation for a single-award Indefinite-Delivery Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) contract for a National Dialysis Electronic Health Record (EHR) Solution. The Veterans Health Administration (VHA) requires a dialysis EHR solution for VA facilities that provide dialysis services throughout the United States. The Contractor shall provide all aspects of the dialysis EHR solution including all hardware, software, interfaces, configuration, installation, testing, training, maintenance, and support as specified in this PWS and in accordance with individual task orders. Hardware does not refer to the dialysis machines or VA computer workstations. All software furnished under this Contract shall be perpetual licenses and include all upgrades, version changes, and/or updates. Maintenance and technical support shall include scheduled maintenance/repairs, unscheduled maintenance, preventative maintenance, and maintenance of the interfaces for the duration of this contract. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this effort is 541512. This solicitation shall close on February 10, 2017 at 12PM EST.
