Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 20, White City VA Southern Oregon Rehabilitation Center and Clinics through Regional Procurement Office West, Network Contracting Office 20, Construction Branch 2 is seeking construction services for project 692-CSI-101 New MRI Site Preparation. The project involves preparing a site at the VA Southern Oregon Rehabilitation Center and Clinics (VASORCC) located in White City, OR for a new MRI, removing the MRI at the Portland, OR VA Medical Center, Vancouver campus (Vancouver), and relocating the MRI to the VASORCC campus and finishing set-up of the MRI at the new site.

Work Details
The contractor is required to provide all material, labor, equipment, and supervision necessary to complete the project. The scope of work includes site preparation at the White City location for the installation of a manufactured double wide trailer and a modular MRI unit. This includes obtaining a 1200CN permit before physical site preparation can commence. Additionally, coordination of the removal and transport of the MRI from the Vancouver campus to the White City site, and installation into the new manufactured double wide trailer is required. Restoration of the Vancouver site is also part of the project.

The project will be completed in multiple periods of performance including Limited Notice to Proceed (LNTP) and Notice to Proceed (NTP) 1 and NTP2. Mandatory progress meetings will be conducted monthly during the LNTP period of performance and weekly thereafter.

Period of Performance
The project will be completed in multiple periods of performance as follows. All periods of performance are in calendar days. Limited Notice to Proceed (LNTP) includes contractor submittal of required contract submittals, all material ordering submittals, and acquiring all necessary permits for site preparation at the White City VA SORCC. Notice to Proceed (NTP) 1 includes preparing the installation site at the White City VA SORCC with a period of performance no longer than 90 days. Notice to Proceed (NTP) 2 includes obtaining all appropriate transportation permits, coordination of the removal and transport of the MRI from the Vancouver campus to the White City site, installation of the MRI into the new manufactured double wide trailer, and complete restoration of the Vancouver site with a period of performance no longer than 90 days.

Place of Performance
The construction projects will be performed at VA Southern Oregon Rehab Center & Clinics, 8495 Crater Lake Hwy, White City, OR 97503, and Portland VA Medical Center Vancouver campus, 1601 E 4th Plain Blvd, Vancouver, WA 98661.
