Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is issuing this solicitation for an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract to provide medical gases and cylinder rental services for VISN 19 facilities.

The goal of this contract is to ensure that VA Medical Centers and their community-based clinics have access to essential medical gases, which are critical for patient care. This procurement is specifically set aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB).

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the rental and filling of various medical gases including, but not limited to: Compressed Medical Air USP, Oxygen USP, Carbon Dioxide USP, Nitrogen NF, Nitrous Oxide USP, Helium USP, and specialty medical gas mixtures.

The estimated quantities required annually will be specified in 'Attachment 1- Medical Gas Items'. The contractor must ensure that all medical gases conform to specifications prescribed in the United States Pharmacopeia and the National Formulary. All products must be registered with the FDA and comply with Current Good Manufacturing Practice (CGMP) regulations. The contractor shall provide all necessary equipment and materials for performance of the requirements of the contract.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at various locations within VISN 19 facilities and their community-based clinics.
