Description

This is a solicitation for medical gas and cylinder rental for the Department of Veterans Affairs Washington DC Medical Center. This is a total service-disabled veteran owned business set-aside. Please see quote requirements in section QUOTE PREPARATION . This Request for Quotation will close on April 16, 2025 at 12:00PM EST. Vendor questions are due by April 9, 2025 at 12:00 PM EST. Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs Washington DC Medical Center (DC VAMC) is seeking a vendor to provide medical gas and cylinder rental services. This solicitation is set aside for service-disabled veteran-owned businesses, emphasizing the agency's commitment to supporting veteran entrepreneurs.

The goal of this contract is to ensure the availability of medical-grade gases necessary for patient care and clinical procedures at the facility.

Work Details
The contractor will provide rental services for medical-grade cylinders and supply various medical gases, including but not limited to:
- Compressed Medical Air USP
- Oxygen USP
- Carbon Dioxide USP
- Nitrogen NF
- Nitrous Oxide USP
- Helium USP
- Specialty medical gas mixtures.

The contractor shall supply all equipment, labor, materials, tools, transportation, supervision, and disposal necessary to distribute and supply medical-grade liquid bulk oxygen. All cylinders must be filled to maximum functional capacity upon delivery. Emergency deliveries must be made within 24 hours after receipt of government notification.

May 13, 2025 – May 12, 2030 (Five-year IDIQ contract with multiple pricing periods).
