DC Dry Ice delivery service 5 YR IDC

Background
This is a solicitation for a 5-year Firm Fixed Price Indefinite Delivery Quantity (IDIQ) Dry Ice delivery contract issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) for the Washington DC VAMC. The RFQ contains the Statement of Work (SOW), technical requirements, line item details, delivery requirements, and evaluation factors.

Work Details
The contract requires the delivery of Dry Ice to the Research Department at Washington DC VAMC. The Dry Ice should be in the shape of 1/4'” sized pellets and transported to the facility via refrigerated truck. The VA will provide a dry ice storage container sufficient to contain the requested quantity pounds of Dry Ice. The delivery schedule specifies that all deliveries shall be made to Room Research Building 4, Room 1F-137 at Washington DC VAMC between 8:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. on Tuesdays, excluding official federal holidays observed by the VA Medical Center. Invoices are to be submitted once a month through the Tungsten System as Net 30.

The period of performance for this contract is 5 years with All Requirements Orders (ARO).
