Bulk Oxygen Wilmington HCC and Jacksonville CBOC   3

Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs Wilmington Health Care Center (HCC) and Jacksonville Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) has a requirement for the supply of medical-grade oxygen in the cylinder quantities annotated in the solicitation. The contractor shall provide a Contractor-owned tank and back-up tanks as required. Quantities shown in the solicitation Schedule are only estimates of the facility’s annual requirement. The COR will be designated for the ordering facility upon award of the contract and will be responsible for Medical Center administration issues such as ordering and providing specific delivery instructions.

Work Details
The contract is for the delivery of medical grade oxygen, including rental of Type H and Type E Oxygen Cylinders, and medical oxygen gas refills for Wilmington HCC and Jacksonville CBOC. The contract period is from April 1, 2022, to March 31, 2023. The contractor is required to deliver medical-grade oxygen on an as-required basis for the Wilmington HCC and Jacksonville CBOC and/or upon mutual agreement between the COR and contractor. The contractor shall comply with all OSHA standards and applicable safety requirements, including proper signage and use of personal protective equipment when delivering replacement cylinders.
