Ms. Sandhill Crane NWR Tallow Treatment   2

Background
The solicitation is issued by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS) for the Mississippi Sandhill Crane National Wildlife Refuge (NWR) to provide herbicide application for treatment of Chinese tallow within the north Ocean Springs Unit of the refuge. The period of performance is anticipated to begin on or about August 1, 2024, and end on November 31, 2024. The work will be performed within the boundaries of the MSCNWR Ocean Springs Unit.

Work Details
The contractor is required to cover 911 acres of the north Ocean Springs Unit project area to identify Chinese tallow and apply appropriate herbicide and adjuvant to control/treat up to 500 acres as needed. The contractor must comply 100% with the agreed-upon plan of work, and method of treatment will be by ground.
Applications must be at the appropriate rate suggested by the manufacturer and label. The contractor shall provide all personnel, labor, equipment, supplies, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other non-personal services necessary to perform the requirements of this contract order.
Public safety must be ensured when spraying or using herbicides.

Period of Performance
The period of performance is anticipated to begin on or about August 1, 2024, and end on November 31, 2024.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed within the boundaries of the MSCNWR Ocean Springs Unit located at 7200 Crane Lane, Gautier, MS 39553.
