Background
The United States Department of Energy, specifically the Southwestern Power Administration (SWPA), is issuing a Blanket Purchasing Agreement (BPA) for the purchase and delivery of Liquid Oxygen (LOX) for use at the Table Rock Dam Powerhouse.

The mission of SWPA is to provide reliable and affordable electric power to its customers while ensuring environmental stewardship. The goal of this contract is to secure a consistent supply of high-purity LOX necessary for operations at the powerhouse.

Work Details
The contract requires the delivery of Liquid Oxygen (LOX) in bulk, which must consist of a minimum of 99.5% oxygen and less than 0.5% inert gas, with a dew point of minus 80 degrees Fahrenheit or lower.

Deliveries will be made to the Table Rock Dam Powerhouse, which has an 80-ton LOX storage and injection facility operated by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. The actual quantities required will vary between zero (0) and forty (40) tons per delivery request/per day, with SWPA providing at least twenty-four (24) hours’ advance notice for scheduled deliveries.

Deliveries are typically expected Monday through Friday between 7:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., although some evening and weekend deliveries may be necessary. The supplier is responsible for transportation and unloading of LOX from their trailer to the Corps facility at Table Rock Dam Powerhouse.

The geographic location for performance is Table Rock Dam Powerhouse, located on Highway 165 South of Branson, Missouri at 760 Hatchery Road.
