Lease of Free Kappa/Lambda Analyzer   3

Background
The contract is issued by the Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System (CAVHS) with the goal of leasing a Free Kappa/Lambda Analyzer. The mission of the agency is to provide high-quality healthcare services to veterans. This contract aims to support Kappa and Lambda Free Light Chain testing through the provision of FDA approved instrumentation, reagents, controls, and calibrators.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide a complete Analyzer System that includes a computer, UPS, and printer. The system must be delivered and set up within 60 days of contract award. Additionally, training for two technologists will be provided within 6 months of delivery.

The following reagents and consumables are to be shipped on an IDIQ basis as needed:
- K-FREE KIT
- L-FREE KIT
- IgA
- IgG
- IgM
- Hu C3c
- Hu C4
- Prealbumin
- Ceruloplasmin
- Haptoglobin
- Rheumatoid Factor
- Necessary diluents for the system
- Sample cups (0.5 mL and 2 mL)
- Cuvettes Tencel
- Washing solutions (20 mL and 100 mL)
- Tubing maintenance solution (20 mL).

Maintenance provisions include preventative maintenance at specified intervals to ensure proper equipment performance. Technical support will be available by telephone during business hours with on-site repairs dispatched within 24 business hours if phone support is insufficient.

Period of Performance
The period of performance is for a base year with four ordering periods.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at the Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System.
