Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs, specifically the James J. Peters VA Medical Center, is seeking to initiate a reagent-funded lease contract for an Immunochemistry (IHC) instrument. Work Details

- High throughput capacity of 80 slides in 8 hours.
- 25 independent slide drawers with continuous access.
- 30 reagent positions for flexibility.
- Compatibility with 25×75 mm or 26×76 mm positively charged microscope slides.
- Waste management system that degrades DAB to <5 ppb.
- Integrated touchscreen for inventory management and quality assurance reporting.
- Independent temperature control for each slide and air vortex mixing system for full coverage with reagents.
The contractor will also supply antibodies, ancillary reagents, consumables, and provide full service/maintenance support. The total quantity required is 2,000 IHC slides per pricing period over five years.

Period of Performance
Base Year: 09/15/2026 through 09/14/2027; Pricing Periods extend annually through 09/14/2031.

Work will be performed at the Histology laboratory in James J. Peters VA Medical Center, Bronx NY 10468 UNITED STATES.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must ensure that all equipment models offered are in current production as of the date of submission. The contractor must provide all necessary antibodies, reagents, calibrators, controls, consumable items, parts, and accessories required for operation. Additionally, all contractor employees must undergo background investigations equivalent to those required for VA employees accessing sensitive information or facilities.
