Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs, specifically the Upstate New York Medical Center Laboratories in Albany, Buffalo, and Syracuse, is seeking to establish an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contract for Electrophoresis testing. This contract aims to provide essential laboratory services for diagnosing and treating conditions such as Multiple Myeloma, Nephrotic Syndrome, Multiple Sclerosis, and Liver Cirrhosis. The contract will be awarded to a single contractor responsible for executing all aspects of the service without subcontracting.

Work Details
The contractor will provide Electrophoresis testing services including:
- Serum Protein Electrophoresis (SPEP)
- Urine Protein Electrophoresis (UPEP)
- Immuno-Fixation Electrophoresis (IFE)
- Cerebral Spinal Fluid (CSF)/Oligoclonal Bands.

The estimated annual volume for testing across all three laboratories is 4,836 tests. The pricing structure is based on a cost per test model. The following are the specific tests and their respective CLIN item numbers:
