CPT - Protein Electrophoresis Instrumentation 5-YR IDIQ - Ann Arbor   3

Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is issuing this solicitation for a full and open competition RFQ for a five-year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract to provide protein electrophoresis instrumentation.
The goal of this contract is to enhance the capabilities of the VA Ann Arbor Healthcare System (VAAAHS) in conducting protein electrophoresis studies on serum, urine, and cerebrospinal fluids (CSF).
This initiative aligns with the VA's mission to deliver high-quality healthcare services to veterans.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide the following equipment and services:
1. One (1) Capillary/Gel system and operating software for protein electrophoresis studies.
2. One (1) automated agarose gel electrophoresis system and operating software.
3. One (1) auto-sampler, Personal Computer, monitor, scanner, and high-definition color printer.
4. Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS).
5. All necessary parts, materials, labor, supervision, test equipment, technical manuals, Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS), reagents, capillaries, agarose gels, calibrators, control materials, supplies, consumables.
6. Operator training and preventative maintenance.
7. 24-hour telephone hot-line service for support.
8. A Cost-Per-Test (CPT) program is requested.

The Capillary/Gel system must meet specific operational features including:
- Automatic delimiting of curves and identification of fractions.
- Ability to import quantitative specific protein results.
- Processing capacity of at least 80 samples per hour.
- Temperature control during sample migration for consistent results.

Period of Performance
The contract will have a five-year ordering period starting from the award date.

Place of Performance
The products will be delivered to the VA Ann Arbor Healthcare System located at 2215 Fuller Road, Ann Arbor, Michigan 48105.
