Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is seeking to establish an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for Automated Chemistry Immunochemistry Instrumentation at the VA Portland Health Care System.

The goal of this contract is to ensure the availability of high-quality laboratory testing services that meet clinical needs and regulatory standards, thereby supporting the VA's mission to provide comprehensive care to veterans.

Work Details
The contractor will provide automated chemistry immunochemistry instrumentation capable of performing various clinical tests. Key specifications include:
- Cost Per Reportable Result (CPRR) pricing model, which encompasses all costs associated with equipment use, reagents, controls, and maintenance.
- The contract will have a minimum guarantee of $5,000.00 and a total capacity of $7,499,999.99 over five years.
- The instrumentation must comply with the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Act (CLIA) and Clinical and Laboratory Standards Institute (CLSI) standards for accuracy and precision.
- The contractor is responsible for maintaining a stocked inventory of necessary supplies and reagents to prevent operational interruptions.
- Emergency supply delivery within 24 hours if defects are found in supplies or if routine delivery fails.
- Training for government personnel on equipment operation is required.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this contract is from December 1, 2025, to November 30, 2030.
