Lightspeed Mode Upgrade Package   3

Background
The National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS), part of the National Institutes of Health (NIH), seeks to enhance its imaging capabilities through the procurement of a Lightspeed Mode Upgrade Package for its existing Miltenyi Biotec UltraMicroscope Blaze imaging system.

The NINDS aims to improve the efficiency of 3D multispectral imaging of cleared tissue samples, which currently takes several hours to days per sample. This upgrade is expected to reduce scanning time by up to 60-fold, thereby increasing productivity in supporting light sheet microscopy imaging projects.

Work Details
The contract involves the purchase of a Lightspeed Mode hardware and software upgrade package for the Miltenyi Biotec UltraMicroscope Blaze imaging system, including:
- One LightSpeed mode upgrade permanent license compatible with existing systems.
- One Blaze PC and Blaze electronics for the upgrade.
- One permanent commercial license of MACS iQ View 3D large volume package imaging software for processing large datasets, including installation and two years of updates.
- Custom 3D printed components:
- Blaze slider holder with clamping for various specimen sizes.
- Sample holder bases (21mm and 52mm) with clamping systems.
- A custom-configured scientific imaging computer fully compatible with the existing system, enabling fast tile 3D big image data acquisition.

All products must include a one-year manufacturer’s warranty and be delivered within 30 days after receipt of order.

Period of Performance
Delivery shall be completed within 30 days after Contractor’s receipt of order.

Place of Performance
Delivery will be made to NIH/NINDS, Flow Cytometry and Imaging Core Facility located at 10 Center Drive, Building 10, Room 5S-241, Bethesda MD 20892, USA.
