Laboratory Supply - Dry Cabinets - Sources Sought

Background
The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is seeking information to identify small business vendors capable of meeting a laboratory supply requirement for four (4) dry cabinets. This Sources Sought notice is issued solely for information and planning purposes and does not constitute a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The results of this market research will help determine the appropriate acquisition strategy.

Work Details
The requirement is for four (4) dry cabinet units that must meet all required specifications to satisfy safety and operational requirements of a laboratory. Specific details include:
- Unit must be desiccant-based technology.
- Must be equipped with a minimum of two (2) individual dryers.
- A desiccant recycling light indicator is preferred.
- Capable of humidity control down to 1% RH.
- Must have digital display and control panel, with capability of setting %RH.
- Must have humidity alarm with on/off button.
- Minimum capacity of 1100 L.
- External dimensions: Width 47-48 inches, Depth 25-31 inches, Height 64-75 inches (without casters).
- Internal dimensions: Width 42-47 inches, Depth 18-30 inches, Height minimum 40 inches.
- Minimum inside shelving dimensions: Width 38 inches, Depth 18 inches; must have at least five (5) adjustable shelves spanning the width of the unit.
- Total minimum of six (6) doors with glass windows; each door opening must have unobstructed dimensions of at least 21.5 x 18.5 inches (W x H).
- Non-latching recessed/flush door pull handles are required; should be lockable, separate from pull handles.
- Unit must have casters and be plug and play.

Bidder Requirements
Vendors responding to this Sources Sought must provide organization information including name, address, email address, website, telephone number, and business size classification. They must also provide their Unique Entity ID (UEI), manufacturer names and part numbers for products that meet the requirements, country of origin/place of manufacture for each proposed item stating Buy American Act compliance, and identification of products that are EPA-designated or USDA BioPreferred.
