HD-X02 Implants.

Background
The National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI), Office of Acquisitions (OA), intends to negotiate and award a purchase order on a noncompetitive sole source basis to Data Sciences International, Inc. (DSI) for HD-X02 Implants.

The Murine Phenotyping Core (MPC) at NHLBI conducts telemetry studies to collect physiological data in live, awake, and healthy mice using DSI's telemetry system. Since 2008, the MPC has utilized DSI hardware and software for telemetry studies. The MPC currently owns a small animal telemetry system and one HD-X02 implant from DSI, which is used to collect data from singular mice implanted with the telemetry transmitter.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide six (6) HD-X02 implants with the following key product specifications:
- Small Gauge multi-color lead coupler kit
- Crimp Tool
- Electroencephalogram and Electromyogram biopotential channels recording.

These implants are essential for studying electroencephalogram heart and brain waves in mice models to analyze heartrate patterns and sleep phenotypes.
