Notice of Intent to Sole Source
The US Geological Survey Oklahoma Texas Water Science Center (Integrated Hydrology and Data Science Branch) has a requirement to purchase a GEM-2H Electromagnetic Sensor Complete System manufactured by Geophex, Ltd.
The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) Code is 334519. The size standard is 600 employees.
The USGS intends to make a non-competitive award to Geophex, Ltd. The Government intends to award this requirement noncompetitively in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b) (1). As the manufacturer of the sought after items, Geophex, Ltd. is the sole source for purchase of all instrumentation. This is not a request for quotation, and the Government does not intend to pay for information received.
