Incumbent Analysis (see Incumbents section for more detail)
This opportunity appears to have a confirmed incumbent and/or closely related prior contract, as MSI - Mid State Instruments received contract 47QSWA19D004M-68HE0324F0070 for equipment purchase of Honeywell SPM Flex portable units (SPMF-P1US) for North America (award value $59,553; 09/04/24–10/29/24). The current requirement is also for three gas detectors that are brand name or technically equal to the Honeywell SPM Flex Gas Detector, with similar portable/stationary monitoring use and ultra-sensitive toxic gas detection. The prior order’s focus on Honeywell SPM Flex portable units suggests continuity in the same detector family and intended application.
