Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs is issuing this solicitation to acquire Rapid Molecular Testing Supplies for the Pathology and Laboratory Medical Service at the Jonathan M Wainwright Memorial VA.

The goal of this contract is to maintain and provide testing services for SARS CoV-2, Influenza A/B, and Strep Group A through a reagent rental agreement.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for maintaining the Rapid Molecular Test System, providing reagents, and servicing for testing clinical laboratory specimens.

The contract will cover:
1. Approximately 640 Flu Tests per year
2. Approximately 280 Strep A Tests per year
3. Approximately 640 SARS CoV-2 tests per year

Tests must be performed using molecular methods on a single instrument system/platform with a preferred run time of thirty (30) minutes or less. The vendor must also provide instrument service/repair and routine maintenance, with a response time for unscheduled downtime of less than 24 hours. All costs associated with service/repair and maintenance are to be included in the reagent pricing. Training for clinical laboratory staff is also required, with all associated costs included in the rental pricing.

Period of Performance
The contract will be effective from October 1, 2025, to September 30, 2030.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at the Jonathan M Wainwright Memorial VA located at 77 Wainwright Drive, Walla Walla, WA 99362.
