Background
The U.S. Government, Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), specifically the Veterans Integrated Services Networks (VISN) 22 Network Contracting Office, is seeking to procure high-sensitive Troponin I (hsTNI) Access II Immunoassay Cost-Per-Reportable (CPRR) Testing. This procurement aims to support the mission of providing exceptional healthcare to Veterans by aiding in the diagnosis of myocardial infarction (MI).

The contract will be structured as a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) with a base year and four one-year options.

Work Details
The contractor is required to provide all necessary equipment, reagents, calibration materials, quality controls, supplies, parts, accessories, service, training, and any other items essential for the proper operation of the instruments. The specific requirements include:
1. All models must produce accurate and reproducible assays on blood using established in vitro diagnostics methods.
2. Equipment must be current state-of-the-art; remanufactured or discontinued models are not acceptable.
3. The system must have FDA approval.
4. The contractor shall provide all upgrades to hardware and software at no additional cost.
5. An operator’s manual must accompany each instrument upon delivery.
6. Initial validation support from the vendor/manufacturer at no extra charge.
7. Assistance with a training plan for product implementation.

Period of Performance
Base: 09/01/2025 – 08/31/2026; Option 1: 09/01/2026 – 08/31/2027; Option 2: 09/01/2027 – 08/31/2028; Option 3: 09/01/2028 – 08/31/2029; Option 4: 09/01/2029 – 08/31/2030.
