Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) has an ongoing program to provide prescription eyeglasses to eligible Veterans. The purpose of this requirement is to procure eyeglass manufacturing and optician services for the VISN 7 facilities. The contract is administered by the Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 7 Network Contracting Activity.

Work Details
The Contractor is to provide prescription eyeglass manufacturing and onsite licensed optician services according to contract specification for beneficiaries of the following sites of care and their entire catchment areas within Alabama, Georgia, and South Carolina VA Health Care Network (VISN 7). The contract performance period is for five years. The Contractor shall provide a complete pair of prescription eyeglasses at fixed prices listed in the Schedule of Supplies/Services. The estimated quantities included for each line item in the Price Schedule do not include projected increases or decreases over the life of the contract but are instead representative of VISN 7’s actual line-item usage between January 1, 2022 - September 30, 2023.

Period of Performance
The contract performance period is for five years, ending on 04/30/2029.

Place of Performance
The geographic locations where the product will be delivered include various VA Medical Centers and Outpatient Clinics within Alabama, Georgia, and South Carolina VA Health Care Network (VISN 7).
