Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Integrated Service Network 20 Optical Fabrication Lab (OFL) has an ongoing program to furnish eyeglasses to those veterans that require them and are eligible for assistance. It is the VA s intention to solicit proposals and award a single Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) on a competitive basis. The OFL currently owns and operates a full Satisloh Digital Surfacing, Finishing, and Anti-Reflective Coatings Lab. This is for Consumables that are compatible with Satisloh Ophthalmic Manufacturing Equipment.

This is a small business set-aside IAW FAR 19.502-2.

Background

It is the VA s intention to solicit proposals and award a single Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) on a competitive basis. Work Details
The Contractor will provide all consumables associated with operating ART-Blockers, VFT-Orbit generators, DUO-flex polishers, Auto Magna-spin Coaters, ART-Deblockers, ES-4 Edger systems, and a MX380-Anti-Reflective Coating center. Consumables include items used in the making of a final good such as diamond tooling, polish pads, polish, coolant, cutting blades, blocking pads, dressing stones, vacuum bags, satin, liners, filaments, lens towels, and other related items. The contract will result in the award of a 1-year Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) with a Period of Performance from 11/01/2023 to 10/31/2024.
