Background
The VA Health Care System has a requirement to purchase dialysis patient recliners to support the Acute Care Service Line at the Fort Meade VAMC. This contract aims to replace end-of-life equipment with new recliners, specifically targeting the Ascent Power Recliners Models 65P and 66P.

Work Details
The contract involves the procurement of the following items:
- 5 units of Model 65P Ascent Power Recliner with Sw Arms, One Table, 4 Inch Casters, Handle, Step
- 6 units of Second Foldaway Side Table
- 6 units of Heat & Massage for Power Models (Classic, Ascent, Alo, Alo Recovery Height)
- 1 unit of Model 66P Power XL Recliner
- Free Dock to Dock Shipping for all items.

Delivery is scheduled between July 31, 2026, and September 30, 2026. Items must be delivered to the VA Black Hills Medical Center located at 113 Comanche Rd, Fort Meade, SD 57741.

Period of Performance

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be authorized vendors capable of supplying the specified models. They are required to coordinate delivery with VA Logistics POC prior to any attempts at delivery. Vendors must conduct a site visit to verify logistics and loading dock access. A certificate of insurance is required if warehouse use is necessary for delivery. The vendor must provide warranty information in their proposals that meets or exceeds one year as per VA policy.
