Amendment A0002 provides instructions on how to submit proposals. This is an amendment to a previous combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products or commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.603. This Request for Proposal (RFP) 36H79725R0004 is issued by the National Acquisition Center (NAC), High Tech Medical Equipment (HTME) Contract Administration Division for Radiation Therapy Systems and Accessories for the Department of Veterans Affairs. The solicitation is for a five (5) year base period and a five (5) year option period contract. The VA NAC intends to award multiple contracts from this solicitation. The applicable NAICS code for this procurement is 334517. UPDATE - Solicitation number 36H79725R0004 will close on Friday, May 2, 2025 at 12:00PM CT. Please see attachment #10 for a response to all questions received. All other changes have been highlighted in the solicitation. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date. Background
The National Acquisition Center (NAC), High Tech Medical Equipment (HTME) Contract Administration Division is issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) 36H79725R0004 for Radiation Therapy Systems and Accessories for the Department of Veterans Affairs.

This contract aims to support the acquisition and management of radiation therapy equipment systems, subsystems, and components, along with maintenance services and training. The goal is to provide necessary equipment and services to meet the needs of both the VA and the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA).

Work Details
The contract encompasses the supply of various Radiation Therapy equipment systems including but not limited to:
- Linear Accelerators (LINAC)
- Simulator Systems
- Record and Verify Systems
- Treatment Planning Systems
- Orthovoltage Systems
- Stereotactic Radiosurgery Systems
- High Dose Rate (HDR) Brachytherapy Systems
- Scanning Water Bath Phantoms
- Installation Services.

Additionally, the contractor may be required to provide incidental services related to the supply of fully functional operational systems. The contract will also include provisions for upgrades and accessories as needed.

Period of Performance
The contract has a five (5) year base period with an option for an additional five (5) year period.

Place of Performance
The products will be delivered to various locations within the United States, including both CONUS (contiguous United States) and OCONUS (outside contiguous United States) locations.
