SEP 2024 Consolidation - HTME with Extended Installation Services (Includes Turnkey Services)   2

Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is seeking proposals for the acquisition of High-Tech Medical Equipment (HTME) along with extended installation services, including turnkey services. This initiative aims to enhance the operational capabilities of VA medical facilities by ensuring that advanced medical equipment is properly installed and integrated into existing systems.

The contract will be awarded based on a best value determination, considering both price and non-price factors.

Work Details
Vendors are required to provide a complete proposal that includes both the HTME and associated extended installation services. Key components of the work include:
- Extended Installation: This may involve connecting with existing utilities, furnishing and installing support structures for equipment, shielding, and other minor items necessary for routine clinical use of radiology and imaging systems.
- Turnkey Installation: This encompasses comprehensive support including site preparation work, non-standard rigging, transporting, and installing radiology and imaging systems to achieve fully operational status.

Vendors must submit a Work Statement that includes:
- Date of site survey
- Itemized scope of work statement
- Single line room drawing
- Total cost statement presented in accordance with the Construction Specifications Institute (CSI) 50-division format (MASTERFORMAT).

All materials used must be new and of first-rate quality. The contractor is responsible for verifying all dimensions at the installation site.

Period of Performance
The goal is to award delivery orders by July 22, 2025, which is approximately 90 days from assignment.

Place of Performance
The performance will take place at various VA medical facilities across the United States where the HTME will be installed.
